Step 1: Grab your Otter Wax Fabric Care Waxed Canvas Spot Cleaner + a stiff natural brush.
Otter Wax concentrated Castile Soap Canvas Cleaner is the perfect solution for removing dirt, grime, and stains from waxed or oiled fabrics. This soap is specially formulated to clean all types of fabrics while not disturbing the wax or oil treatments already applied.
- shake before each use
- apply with brush or soft cloth
- scrub directly into desired area in an even circular motion
- wipe clean with a dry, lint-free cloth
- allow item to dry completely
- If necessary, apply more Otter Wax directly onto the cleaned area.
The stiff natural brush is versatile and great to have on hand to clean a wide variety of fabrics and leathers. The natural bristles are relatively stiff, allowing this brush to scrub away dirt, dust, debris, and stains, but soft enough to not scratch leather or pull at the threads of fabric. This brush can be used dry, but we highly recommend this brush for applying Canvas Cleaner.

Step 2: Apply Fabric Wax to the fully dried canvas.
The all-natural heavy duty fabric wax is made from the highest quality beeswax and proprietary blend of plant-based waxes and oils. The first and only water repellent wax that doesn’t utilize paraffin, silicone, or other petroleum-based synthetic ingredients.
Apply the wax in an even circular motion, then press the wax into the fabric with your fingertips, palm, or fist to create a uniform seal.

Step 3: Clean the leather with Otter Wax Saddle Soap.
Otter Wax specially formulated this Saddle Soap using a proprietary blend of all-natural beeswax, castile soap, and essential oils. The Saddle Soap gently cleans, protects, and revives leather. Made without harsh detergents, chemicals, or dyes, this product is safe to use on all types and colors of leather.
Apply the Saddle Soap to the bag with a cotton cloth by dipping it in warm water. Clean the leather in even circular motions to scrub away dirt. Allow the leather to dry completely.

Step 4: Apply Otter Wax Leather Salve
This deep conditioning treatment is made from a proprietary blend of natural waxes, oils, and butters. A rich blend of moisturizing shea butter and carnauba wax restores suppleness, luster, and shine to dehydrated leather and helps protect from future damage.
Apply to the fully-dried leather with a dry cotton cloth and even circular motions to seal.

Allow your bag to dry & cure for 24 full hours for best future use. Repeat these steps as needed.
